Sunnie Jewelry was Inspired by love for the ocean and determination to solve the popular issue of your favorite jewelry pieces losing their shimmer. No matter how much you take care of them, there was always a color change or green stain left behind. Our founder, Vanessa Burnham, started SUNNIE with a passion to help others radiate confidence from within, and feel at ease when enjoying all of your favorite outdoor activities knowing your jewelry is durable and gonna last all summer long!

That's when we discovered... PVD! 18k PVD jewelry is created using a vacuum-sealed process that enhances its durability and water resistance by bonding a layer of gold to a base metal, typically stainless steel. This method ensures a strong adhesion that protects the jewelry from tarnishing and wear. With this discovery we knew the options were endless. We could bring our vision to life for all jewelry lovers to be able to enjoy on every travel adventure, without the tarnishing!

My love for the ocean has always been so deep within. Every memory from my youth involved the sea and my love for it never stopped growing. What a beautiful creation our God has made! While Jewelry has always been around in my family, both of my grand mother's loved jewelry and grew their collections over time, I guess you could say it's in my genes! With each collection I design, I hope that the passion I have for this dream shows across my work and inspires others to live life with confidence and faith. Ephesians 2:4-6
